Introduction
The wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter is suitable for continuous flow measurement of most single-phrase homogeneous liquids that do not contain high concentrations of suspended particles or air bubbles in industrial environments. It supports heat energy totalizing functions, which can be enabled by adding a pair of temperature sensors to the basic ultrasonic flowmeter to calculate thermal energy. This product is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineerign, electric power, food processing, and other industrial sectors.

Measuring principle
Ultrasonic flow meters measure flow based on the Transit-Time Difference Method. This method uses two mounted ultrasonic sensors to transmit and receive signals in opposite directions through the fluid medium. By measuring the difference in propagation time between ultrasonic waves traveling with the flow (downstream) and against the flow (upstream), fluid velocity is determined indirectly. Volumetric flow rate is then calculated using this velocity and the pipe’s cross-sectional area.
