Corrosion-Resistant Flow Monitoring for Chemical Wastewater Treatment
Project Overview
Electromagnetic flowmeters were installed at chemical wastewater treatment plants to provide continuous flow measurement. Because chemical wastewater may contain corrosive conductive liquids, the instruments needed to withstand demanding process conditions while maintaining reliable operation.
Solution Provided
Remote electromagnetic flowmeters with IP68 protection were selected for outdoor installation. Their separated sensor and converter design allows measurement data to be displayed away from the pipeline, making routine monitoring more convenient.
To accommodate different wastewater compositions, the flowmeters can be configured with titanium, tantalum or platinum electrodes according to the chemical properties of the measured medium.
