Product Overview

The FLC420 Turbine Flowmeter is designed for accurate volumetric flow measurement of low-viscosity liquids in closed pipelines. It uses a turbine rotor structure to convert liquid velocity into pulse signals, providing reliable flow monitoring for clean liquids in pharmaceutical, chemical, food & beverage, and small-scale production applications.

Key Features

  • Provides reliable measurement performance with accuracy up to Class 0.5 and excellent repeatability for demanding flow monitoring applications.
  • Supports a range ratio up to 10:1, allowing flexible measurement across different flow conditions.
  • Designed for efficient operation with maximum power consumption of only 0.5W under 24VDC supply.
  • Available with threaded, flange, and clamp process connections to fit different installation requirements.
  • Uses 304SS casing with optional 304SS or 316LSS body materials for corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Provides active pulse output signals for easy integration with flow displays, controllers, and automation systems.

FAQ

What liquids can the FLC420 measure?

The FLC420 is designed for low-viscosity liquids such as water, liquefied petroleum gas, refined petroleum products, light crude oil, organic liquids, and inorganic liquids without fibers or particulate impurities.

What is the maximum operating temperature?

The standard stainless steel measuring tube supports medium temperatures from -4 to 176°F (-20 to 80°C). A high-temperature option up to 302°F (150°C) is available according to the ordering code.

What installation conditions are required?

The pipeline should remain completely filled with liquid, and air bubbles should be avoided because they may affect measurement accuracy. Proper straight pipe lengths should also be maintained before and after the meter.

Does the FLC420 support digital communication?

The standard configuration provides active pulse output. Other output configurations can be customized according to ordering requirements.

What warranty do you provide?
