Product Overview

The BayMeters LDG-SUP-A100 Electromagnetic Flow Meter is a high-performance flow measurement solution designed for conductive liquids in closed pipelines. Utilizing Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, it provides highly accurate, obstruction-free flow measurement without pressure loss or moving parts. Available in both integrated and remote configurations, the LDG-SUP-A100 supports multiple communication protocols and output options, making it ideal for water treatment, chemical processing, environmental monitoring, mining, pulp & paper, and industrial automation applications.

Key Features

  • Provides ±0.5% of reading as standard, with selected pipe sizes available at ±0.3% accuracy for demanding process applications.
  • The full-bore electromagnetic measuring principle eliminates mechanical wear, reducing maintenance while ensuring long-term measurement stability.
  • The unobstructed measuring tube introduces virtually no pressure drop, making it ideal for continuous process monitoring.
  • Accurately measures both forward and reverse flow without requiring additional hardware or configuration changes.
  • Supports 4–20 mA, Pulse Output, RS485 Modbus RTU, and optional HART communication for seamless integration into PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Choose between compact integrated installation or remote-mounted converter for challenging environments and easier maintenance.

FAQ

What liquids can the LDG-SUP-A100 measure?

The flowmeter measures electrically conductive liquids with a minimum conductivity of 50 μS/cm, including water, wastewater, acids, alkalis, slurries, and many chemical solutions. It is not suitable for oils, gases, or steam.

Should I choose an integrated or remote version?

The integrated version is ideal for standard installations with convenient access, while the remote version is recommended for high-temperature, submerged, or difficult-to-access locations where the converter needs to be mounted separately.

Does the flowmeter cause pressure loss?

No. Because the measuring tube has no moving parts or flow obstructions, the electromagnetic flowmeter introduces virtually no pressure loss into the pipeline.

Can it measure flow in both directions?

Yes. The LDG-SUP-A100 supports bi-directional flow measurement and can display and output both forward and reverse flow values.
