Introduction

Total Nitrogen Analyzer is a stable and accurate liquiline system analyzer that monitors the nitrogen content in various samples, like water, wastewater, soil, and other industrial materials.

The TN Liquiline system analyzer is widely used in environmental monitoring, water treatment, agriculture, and industrial applications to assess nitrogen concentration, which is the key parameter for evaluating water quality, soil health, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Measuring principle

SUP Total Nitrogen Analyzer uses potassium persulfate under alkaline conditions to digest the sample at high temperature, and all the nitrogen contained in the sample will be oxidized into nitrate. It measures the absorbance of the digest sample at wavelengths of 220 nm and 275 nm, respectively, and it gets the absorbance A220 and A275. This accurate TN liquiline system analyzer calculates the end absorbance A according to the formula A = A220 - 2A275. On top of that, the instrument can calculate the concentration of total nitrogen in the sample through UV spectrophotometric conversion.
